Utak Negosyante

Instilling "utak negosyante" to every employee is a daunting challenge.  Realization of business objectives will happen if every team member think, act like they own the business.  Recently with Sunlife Visayas and Mindanao managers.
salamat sa inyong lahat!

He’s one of the most sought after professional speakers today on topics like entrepreneurship, franchising and customer service. I personally like him because he’s so down to earth and very approachable alongside the fact that he’s a graduate of BS Airline Business Administration from PATTS College of Aeronautics :). Way back in college, he did a lot of utility job in a customs brokerage firm, he used to be a delivery boy, courier and messenger. He invested his earnings at a mutual fund then put up a laundry business with his dividends. At present, that laundry business now is a big cargo company, he is now the president and CEO of Vcargo group with different business units in transport, energy and logistics.

For February’s Evening with the Dean, we have a special guest who’s at 41 reached his goal of financial independence and goes by the moniker of “THE ENTREP CHAMP” in the entrepreneurship community because of his business savvy and wisdom.

Fast Food to Flash Healthy Food

  • Fast food and flash healthy food are separately in demand.
  • Try to come up with a fast food that at the same time is healthy, nutritious and affordable.

Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam (CMLV) are expected to import more products and services. To take advantage of this, Filipino entrepreneurs must ask themselves “what expertise can I offer to this countries?”. These include services like english tutorials, training centers and hospitality management that are in demand across the ASEAN region.

Tourism Related Business

Local Government (LGU) also pursue campaign to promote their local tourism & product. So do not decount local tourists in the equation!

  • Most of them usually outsource their products goods movement.
  • The increase in economic activity in the Philippines will likely increase the movement of goods.
  • Manufacturers will be outsourcing their transportation need, especially during peak seasons.

Skills Based Negosyo

  • You don’t need to look for what venture to get into, because” Your knowledge & skills is your business!”.
  • If you’re an accountant – have your own accounting / booking firm.
  • A welder – may open a fabrication business.
  • Hairdresser – salon/beauty is for you.

Create a business out of the skills that you already have then learn the soft skills in order to manage that business.

After the celebrations last night, most of us right now are looking and anticipating a very good year ahead.

Allow me to share with you my 2014 personal thoughts.

First for my professional undertaking, it was really an unprecedented and a great year for Vcargo- we were honored to be recognized by the following:

1.Asean Business Awards Philippines Young Entrepreneur category- this is the 1st in the country. an unexpected recognition, given that we were competing with the countrys foremost companies. btw, baka magtaka kayo why this category, baka nire-define na nila ibig sabihin ng "young"

It was chaired by Mr.Manny Pangilinan and no less than Pres.Aquino handed the trophy.

2.Phil.Marketing Assoc.-Agora Awards- winning as Outstanding Entrepreneur - Medium Scale Enterprise- this is one prestigious award that most companies in the country wants to have.

3.Most Admired Asean Enterprise-Young Entrepreneur -Runner Up

This is really something, as one of the 6 winners in the Philippines search,we represented the country in Myanmar and have competed against the best in the Asean region. (hindi ko pa pala nai-post ito:)

It recognizes successful businesses in the region, and underscores readiness of Asean enterprises for this year's Integration.

Why these are all significant? were celebrating a milestone-our 15th year in the business, truly a blessed year:)

It was not just rosy,as we were faced with a lot of operational and financial
Challenges along the way. But, like in any sports game, planning, strategizing and getting your team in the thick of the fight will make you win. Thankful that I have a very good, competent key heads.

On my speaking career,2014 gave me the opportunity to reach thousands of Filipinos from all over the country and to some parts of the world.

Expect that this year there will be more engagements,so watch out!

im so flattered that my best selling book "strategies of a champion entrepreneur" have helped a lot already and continues to inspire thousands more.  The motivation, inspiration and the "jolog, corny" jokes will continue dont worry!:)

I cannot do all this without the support of my loved ones and families, so thankful to have them.

Im sure, for most of us,2015 brings a lot of positivity, hope and expectations. whatever your plans for this year just "work on it" it may not not be as easy as we envision it,there will be roadblocks ahead, just go on- push mo yan te!! after all, i always believe that theres a "Champion in all of us" we just need to unlock it.

Whatever the result may be,lets always be thankful to our dear Lord, lagi tayong magpasalamat sa lahat, lahat.
theres really so much to be thankful.

Thank you everyone!

Sa inyong lahat, Happy New Year and may we all have a wonderful year ahead!!! mwah, mwah:)

More than test papers, term papers and exams, teachers are like "transformers" they can develop an average student to extra ordinary.

Sometimes, they just need a little push to help us achieve our potentials.

"Aspire to Inspire" teachers now more than ever, need to be ins

fascinating,interesting teaching will help.

For all, lets thank them for their dedication, sa mga oras na nilalaan nila sa atin sa mga sakripisyo at pag-gabay.
